As Covid-19 marched across the globe, leaving fear, anxiety and uncertainty in its wake, people of all faiths found strength in the power of prayer. Some created pandemic-specific prayers ranging from entreaties for overall well-being to specific themes, such as intercessions for nursing home residents. Here’s a sampling of how the pandemic intersected with prayer in the three Abrahamic faiths.
