Katie Falkenberg, based in the Pacific Northwest, is a documentary filmmaker and  photographer with a passion for telling stories at the intersection of environmental  conservation and outdoor adventure. Katie has been a Pulitzer Prize finalist in  Feature Photography, as well as a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism  Award for Domestic Photography. She has twice been named Multimedia  Photographer of the Year by Pictures of the Year International (POYi), and the  National Press Photographers Association (NPPA). In her free time she enjoys fly  fishing, surfing, or trail running with her hound dog, Mabel.
