California native Danny King is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Houston Chronicle, as well as the Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Sacramento Business Journals. A self-professed music nerd, architecture geek, sports nut and cheap foodie, he’s also held staff positions with Bloomberg News, Travel Weekly and the Los Angeles Business Journal. Danny’s also a director of the Vedem Foundation, a multimedia nonprofit dedicated to social-activism education. He graduated from UC Berkeley and currently lives in Dallas with his family.
